After days of engagement buzz with Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan took to his Instagram stories on January 1, 2026, and penned a long post. In his note, he clarified that his name should not be linked with anyone. He added that he was part of the show three years ago and that chapter ended there. Abhishek clarified that his choices and stance were clear, and they remain the same. He wrote:
“I want to make one thing very clear, please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of the show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then and nothing has changed since.”
