Earlier, in 2025, Ashley revealed that she gave birth to a baby boy, and the father is business tycoon, Elon Musk. Initially, the billionaire refused to acknowledge his child, but as per the latest reports, he is all set to take full charge of Romulus.

On January 12, 2026, the 54-year-old businessman took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to share that he is going to file for full custody of his one-year-old son, Romulus. For the unversed, Romulus is the son of Elon Musk and 27-year-old author and influencer, Ashley St. Clair. Elon’s tweet was a reply to an X user who implied that he filed for full custody. It is noteworthy to mention that Elon and the X user’s tweet on full custody came after Ashley publicly apologised for her past harsh comments on the transgender community. In his tweet, the Tesla CEO mentioned that the author might transition his one-year-old son. The tweet shared by Elon Musk can be read as:

“I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy.”
