Gold rates today: MCX gold slips ₹720 per 10g, silver plunges ₹7,000 per kg on easing geopolitical worries

Gold and silver prices fell on 16 January due to a stronger US dollar and reduced geopolitical tensions. Gold futures dropped by ₹721 to ₹1,42,400, while silver fell nearly ₹7,000 to ₹2,84,628 but remained on track for a weekly gain of 14%.
