Gold price today: Gold rates jumped to a record high on Friday morning. MCX gold February futures jumped by nearly ₹2,900, or almost 2%, to a fresh record high of ₹1,59,226 per 10 grams. MCX silver March futures surged by more than ₹12,600, or almost 4%, to a fresh record high of ₹3,39,927 per kg.
