After Norwegian biathlete Sturla revealed that he had an affair while he was dating, his current girlfriend responded. She chose not to reveal her identity and stay anonymous. She shared that for her it is hard to forgive, even after Surla announced his love for her publicly in front of the whole world. She stated that she didn’t want to be in such a position as it is extremely hard. She further clarified that she had contacted Surla and he knows what she is feeling at this time. She wrote to Norwegian paper, VG:
“It is hard to forgive, even after such a public declaration of love in front of the whole world. I have not asked to be put in this position and it is hard to be there. We have had contact and he knows my feelings about this.”
