For the unversed, Mona Singh played the role of Sunny Deol’s wife in Border 2. Recently, she revealed that her father was a part of the 1971 India-Pakistan war and lost a foot during the same.

When asked about the film, Border 2, Mona Singh revealed that she felt an instant connection with the script as her father was also in the Army. An emotional yet proud Mona Singh was quoted as saying:
“I am a fauji’s daughter and my dad fought the 1971 war.”
