O’Romeo, starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in lead, finally hit the theatres on February 13, 2026. The film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj is said to be a modern-day adaptation of the iconic story, Romeo and Juliet. Plotline of O’Romeo
The much-awaited film, O’Romeo, opens in 1995 Mumbai. In the first few moments, viewers are introduced to ‘Ustara’ (played by Shahid Kapoor), a small-time gan***er known for using a sharp blade. He lives with his grandmother, played by Farida Jalal. Even though ‘Ustara’ is involved in crime, he follows his own rules. A senior cop, ‘Khan’ (essayed by Nana Patekar) also takes help from ‘Ustara’ about bigger gangs and D-Company links.
