Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has triggered intense speculation on the internet. For those unaware, the 84-year-old mother of Today Show co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie had suddenly disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona home on January 31, 2026, in what authorities believe to be a kidnapping. After the case made national headlines, there has been a lot of speculation about the involvement of Nancy Guthrie’s elder daughter, Annie, and her husband, Tommaso. However, the Pima County Sheriff has given his final verdict in the same. 

Is anyone from the Guthrie family involved in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance?

The Pima County Sheriff, Chris Nanos, and his department have officially released a statement to make clear that Nancy Guthrie’s family members are not suspects in her disappearance. The statement noted that the three kids of Nancy, including Annie Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie, and Camron Guthrie, and their respective spouses, have no role in the case. Instead, they have completely coordinated with the department for investigation. In the statement’s words:

“To be clear…the Guthrie family – to include all siblings and spouses – has been cleared as possible suspects in this case.”
