As per the copy of Sangeetha’s divorce petition, Vijay Thalapaty kept travelling abroad with the actress with whom he had an extramarital affair. Not only this, her petition further mentions that the said actress continued to share pictures from their outing on her social media handle. She added that it caused immense distress to her and her children. “The respondent continued travelling abroad and attend public events with the said actress. The actress regularly posted photographs of these outings on social media. The respondent neither denied nor objected to these posts, thereby tacitly endorsing them. These posts widely circulated, causing repeated humiliation to the petitioner and the children.”
