Bobby Deol made his acting debut back in 1995 with the film, Barsaat, in which the name of his character was ‘Badal’. The film was a hit, and Bobby won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. What followed was a rollercoaster ride of hit-and-flop films. The nine years from 2004 to 2013 were the darkest phase of Bobby’s career, as his films weren’t performing well at the box office. However, it was in 2018 when the actor was seen in Race 3, and although the film wasn’t a success as per critics, it was the sixth-highest-earning film of 2018.
Bobby Deol’s comeback story has three writers, Salman Khan, Prakash Jha and Sandeep Reddy Vanga
The audience appreciated Bobby Deol’s physical transformation for Race 3, but it was still far from a comeback. However, Salman Khan’s kind gesture to offer a role to Bobby in Race 3 did play a significant role in rejuvenating the latter’s acting career, as it was after Race 3 that Bobby got the opportunity to work in Housefull 4, which was also a commercial success.
