Ranveer Singh attended the Red Sea Film Festival and opened up about the negative criticism that came his way, after his upcoming film, Don 3 was announced. The actor highlighted how he understands the love that the film franchise has gotten throughout the years and added that he wishes to give it a new twist of his own. Revealing how he knew that the scepticism would come in his way, he said:
“I’m hoping to make Don my own and give it my spin, my interpretation. It is the handing over of the baton of one of the most loved and revered franchises of Hindi cinema. The significance of that is not lost on me. When the announcement was made, as expected, it came with its share of scepticism.”
