In the latest interview with the Humans of Bombay, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about the screening night of his debut film, Refugee. Talking about the same, the actor revealed how his parent’s reacted after watching the film. Abhishek shared that Jaya Bachchan got emotional after she saw him on the silver screen. He added that his father, Amitabh Bachchan, didn’t react much because he is not the kind of person who displays his emotions. Elaborating more on it, Abhishek said:
“JP sahab showed us Refugee the night before the premiere, that was the first time I saw myself on screen. He had a special screening for Bebo and me and our families and the rest of the cast, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty. My mother, of course, was an emotional wreck, but my father was very, very quiet. I think he kind of knew what he was in for after that, just like, ‘Oh God, my son!’ He is not someone who displays his emotions very easily, but my mother was very emotional.”
