In an interview with Deadline, George Clooney shared that he had known Matthew Perry since he was 16 years old. George shared that he and Matthew, along with other of their friends, used to play paddle tennis. Talking more about the late actor, George Clooney stated that he was ten years older than Matty, and called him a ‘funny Kid’. Clooney said:

“I knew Matt when he was 16 years old. We used to play paddle tennis together. He’s about 10 years younger than me. And he was a great, funny, funny, funny kid.”
