Sridevi was one of the most successful actresses of her generation. Hailed as the first female superstar, she won immense praises from a thronging audience, who continue to watch her films even today. Sridevi had kickstarted her acting journey as a child artist at the age of four. Shekhar Kapur remembers Sridevi shot for a song despite suffering from a high fever
Eminent filmmaker, Shekhar Kapur remembered the late icon, Sridevi on her 60th birth anniversary. Taking to his IG handle, Shekhar dropped a gorgeous picture of the diva, which was a still from her iconic song, Kaatein Nahi Kat Te from the film, Mr India, opposite Anil Kapoor. Draped in her stunning choice of a blue chiffon saree, Sridevi looked enchanting in the picture. Along with it, Shekhar penned a long post and revealed how the actress had shot for the iconic song despite suffering from a high fever, and hid it from everyone. Revealing how it was through the choreographer, Saroj Khan that he learnt about her condition, he mentioned:
“I remember the days we were filming this iconic song iconic image of ‘I Love you’ .. you hid from me that you were running a high fever… and you were in numbing pain. That everyone advised you to rest, and certainly not allow yourself to get wet, that you could land up being seriously ill … I only found out from our Choreographer Saroj Khan after we had finished shooting.”
