Taking to her IG stories on August 17, 2023, Charu Asopa dropped a still of her former sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen from her newest release, Taali. Along with it, Charu penned a special note of appreciation for the former Miss Universe, over her incredible performance in the webseries. For the unversed, Sushmita Sen’s series, Taali is a biopic of the eminent transgender activist, Shri Gauri Sawant. Along with the picture, Charu applauded her didi and wrote:
