For those who don’t know, Harivansh Rai Bachchan was earlier married to Shyama Bachchan, who passed away in 1936. In 1941, Harivansh Rai Bachchan met Teji Suri in Bareilly. They attended a tea party at a professor, Jyoti Prakash’s house. The duo’s eyes met, and they felt a connection.
