It was the critically acclaimed filmmaker and producer, Mahesh Bhatt, who launched Atif Aslam in Bollywood by choosing him to sing the song, Woh Lamhe, for his film, Zeher. After the gigantic success of Woh Lamhe, Mahesh Bhatt gave him the song, Aadat from his film, Kalyug, that changed Atif Aslam’s life once and for all. Both the songs, Woh Lamhe and Aadat, were released in 2005 and instantly put Atif’s name on top of every producer and music director’s list.
