Poonam Pandey’s last rites to take place in her hometown, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh
On February 2, 2024, a post was shared on Poonam Pandey’s IG handle that was inscribed with the heartbreaking message of the actress’ demise. As per several media reports, Poonam’s manager, Parul Chawla stated that the actress was suffering from cervical cancer, and she was diagnosed with the same some time back, and it was in the last stage. Talking to India Today, Poonam’s manager also revealed that the late actress was in her hometown, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, when she breathed her last, and her last rites will reportedly take place there. Poonam’s manager can be quoted as saying:
“She got detected with cancer sometime back, and it was in the latter stages. She was in her hometown in Uttar Pradesh, and the funeral will mostly happen there.”
