Poonam Pandey Talked About Suffering From Brain Haemorrhage After Getting Beaten By Her Ex-Husband

Poonam Pandey passed away in her home town, Kanpur, leaving many in shock. According to the official statement, the actress and model had cervical cancer, and she gave a tough fight to it. While Poonam never talked about her health condition in the media or to her industry friends, she once talked about dealing with a health issue during her stint in the reality show, Lock Upp. Not many know Poonam had also been subjected to domestic violence during the early days of her marriage with her ex-husband, Sam Bombay.

Poonam Pandey revealed she suffered a brain haemorrhage due to domestic violence

In a 2022 interview with ETimes, Poonam Pandey shared a shocking detail about her ugly marriage with Sam Bombay. The actress revealed that she had lost her sense of smell completely because of the brain haemorrhage. She added that she was mentally and physically much stronger. The late actress also talked about taking therapy sessions which she had stopped to enter the reality show, Lock Upp. She was quoted as saying:

“There were times in the show when I couldn’t handle things anymore, and they would ask me how could they help me. The makers were very supportive. My body has gone through a lot physically and mentally. I see myself at a very peaceful stage because I feel ab isse zyaada kya hoga mere saath. I’ve crossed that stage. I feel that. I will see how things go and then opt for therapy.”
