Shark Tank is one of the most unique reality shows in the Indian television industry. The show is inspired by an American business reality series of the same name and concept. Adil Qadri came to Shark Tank with a debt of Rs 6 crore
Adil Qadri, a luxury perfume entrepreneur from Gujarat, went to the show aiming to crack a deal with the sharks for an investment of Rs 1 crore with 0.5% equity. Adil is an asthma patient, so he could attend regular school only till the sixth grade, but that did not alter his determination to achieve something big in life. His perfume pitch impressed the sharks, and he finally closed the deal with Sugar cosmetics CEO, Vineeta Singh.
