Actor Rajkummar Rao revealed that he was initially cast as a parallel lead in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. However, the script was later changed and his role became smaller. Despite the limited scope, Rajkummar decided to stick with the film, which eventually led to him meeting casting director Mukesh Chhabra and being cast in the critically acclaimed film ‘Shahid’.
