It featured a star cast of Ranbir Kapoor along with his mother, Neetu Kapoor and sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani. Throughout the show, the three of them reveal many unknown anecdotes from their personal lives that are simply unmissable. However, fans felt a notable absence of Ranbir’s ladylove, Alia Bhatt from the show’s first episode. Now, we got to learn about the real reason behind the same.
Why Alia Bhatt didn’t make an appearance with Ranbir Kapoor at The Great Indian Kapil Show?
According to a latest report by TimesNow, Alia Bhatt was missing from the episode due to payment issues and nothing personal. A source close to the makers of the show revealed that unlike Kapil Sharma’s TV show, wherein celebrities used to grace in order to promote their films, in the Netflix-special one, the guests are compensated for their appearances. However, each week’s episode has a substantial budget pre-fixed by the makers. Thus, the source revealed that the makers couldn’t afford Alia and her husband, Ranbir, together in the same episode. Consequently, the actor arrived with his family. However, it is also believed that Alia will mark her presence in future episodes.
