A few days before the film, Emergency’s release, Kangana Ranaut, who is also a Member of Parliament from Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), revealed that she had asked Priyanka Gandhi, Congress MP, to watch her film. In an interview with the PTI, the actress was asked if the Gandhi family had reached out to her to watch the film. For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the role of Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother, Indira Gandhi.
