Udit Narayan Breaks Silence On Getting Hate For Kissing A Fan, ‘They Have Made Me More Famous’

Udit Narayan ruled the 90s with his soulful voice, which played a big role in the success of various films and actors. He sang songs in multiple languages and shared a cordial bond with his contemporaries. Although Udit Narayan has mostly stayed away from controversies, he has recently made headlines after a video of him kissing one of his female fans on her lips went viral. Netizens criticised the singer and called his behaviour ‘inappropriate’, but he brushed it off, saying it was just the craze of his fans. In a recent interview, Udit Narayan has opened up about the hate coming his way. 

Udit Narayan believes his ‘kiss controversy’ has made him ‘more famous’

Udit Narayan sat down for a conversation with Bollywood Hungama and opened up about the criticism coming his way after the video of him kissing a female fan went viral. He explained that he is at a stage in his career where he has achieved it all. Consequently, he won’t won’t do anything wrong. The Pehla Nasha singer added that he doesn’t feel he has done anything scandalous. In his words: 

“What you saw in the so-called scandalous video was a manifestation of the love between my fans and I. They love me. I love them back even more.”
