The movie, based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s battles against the Mughals, suggests that the looted treasures of the Marathas were hidden in Asirgarh Fort. Adding fuel to the fire, one scene from the film referred to Burhanpur as a ‘gold mine’.
