But now, an old video of Pakistan’s fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar resurfaced, wherein he admitted that he intentionally wanted to hurt Sachin Tendulkar. Recently, a Reddit user dropped a video of Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar on the discussion thread. The video is from one of his interviews with Sportskeeda. In the video, the cricketer can be seen admitting that during the 3rd Test match between India and Pakistan at the National Stadium, Karachi in 2006, he intentionally wanted to hurt Sachin Tendulkar. Elaborating more on it, he said:

“I want to reveal this today that I really wanted to injure Sachin in that match…I was determined to hurt Sachin at any cost in that match…And I kept at it although Inzamam-ul-Haq asked to bowl in front of the wickets.”
