Sunjay Kapur, one of the well-known industrialists, passed away on June 12, 2025. It was a few hours before his demise that he took to his X (Twitter) and dropped a note while expressing his grief for the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. Sunjay was playing polo when he suffered a heart attack and couldn’t survive. After a significant delay in his funeral for his US citizenship, Sunjay’s mortal remains were brought back to India 7 days after his demise, and his funeral took place on June 19, 2025, following his prayer meeting on June 22, 2025.
