Boney Kapoor is in seventh heaven as his daughter, Anshula Kapoor, got engaged to her longtime beau, Rohan Thakkar, in New York City. Now, her father, Boney Kapoor, expressed his happiness and revealed that he had wanted this to happen in front of his mother, so that she could also see her granddaughter’s marriage.
Anshula Kapoor announced her engagement
In an interview with The Bombay Times, Boney revealed that he is happy his daughter has got engaged and expressed his wish to have it happen earlier when his mother was alive. He added that he and his family are waiting for her return so that they can set a wedding date. Boney Kapoor was quoted as saying:
“I am really happy and elated. This was the best day. I wish this had happened when my mother was alive. When I heard it, I was absolutely delighted. It’s the best news I’ve heard in some time. We are waiting for them to come back so we can decide the wedding date. We need to talk to them”
