Akhil Mishra was one of the highly underrated actors in Indian cinema. Born on July 22, 1965, he was a part of Indian cinema and television for almost three decades. With his work in so many memorable films, he never got the recognition and fame he deserved for such a consistent actor. However, things changed when he appeared in Rajkumar Hirani’s film, 3 Idiots.
In the blockbuster film, Akhil Mishra portrayed the character of a librarian named ‘Dubey’. His comical character not only left audiences in splits but also made a place in everyone’s core memory. His expressions throughout while listening to ‘Chatur Ramalingam’s (Omi Vaidya) speech and the eventual fall on stage never fail to make everyone’s jaws pain.
