He began his acting journey in 1995 and met his now-wife, actress-director Renuka Shahane, a few years later, and there has been no looking back since. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Ashutosh Rana reflected on his acting journey and shared how, despite being married for years, he has never worked alongside his multi-talented wife, Renuka Shahane. Expressing his admiration, the Raaz actor called himself lucky to have her as his partner and showered her with praise, saying:
“I also want to work with her… She’s an actor of such a high level, and a writer and director of such calibre… I consider her one of the top actors in the country. I am saying this not because I’m her husband, but I’m her husband because she’s such a great actor… So I’m a fan first. I consider myself lucky that I got an opportunity to spend my life with such a wonderful and smart woman as my partner.”
