And, now she has decided to revive her most popular show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and shared why she made the decision to do so after decades.

Ekta Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a long post on July 10, 2025. In the post, she explained what led to her decision to revive Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The director-producer revealed that when the 25th anniversary of the show approached, she shared the idea of relaunching the show. However, her first reaction was a ‘firm NO’. She didn’t want to shake the nostalgia, and she knew nothing could replace it.
