Recently, Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra addressed the now-viral post announcing their alleged separation that made headlines. In an interaction with Telly Talk India, the Mehra sisters clarified that the emotional tone of their ‘separation’ message was nothing more than a promo campaign for their upcoming reality show, Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon, where they appear not as a jodi, but as individual contestants. Addressing their real-life fallout buzz, Surabhi explained:
“Pehli baat koi separation nahi huya hai. Chinki Minki ko koi bhi alag nahi kar sakta hai. Humara post was related to this show (Chhoriyaan Chali Gaon). Hum sath me jaa rahe hai iss show mein, but as individual contestants. Hum dono sath mein kaam karna kabhi nahi chorenge. We had to post it for the show’s promotion. Humein bas thora sa buzz create karna tha. But thora sa buzz… mujhe nahi pta tha itna bada buzz hojayega. Koi sibling divorce, separation nahi ho raha.”
