Soon after speculations started surrounding the arrest of the social media influencer, his team clarified that Abdu had been detained by the police and was released after the Bigg Boss 16 contestant provided explanations. Now, a while ago, Abdu himself addressed the issue and stated that he is safe and that the news of his arrest was fake.

Abdu Rozik breaks silence on the rumour of his arrest in Dubai

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Abdu has finally broken his silence on the ongoing buzz surrounding his arrest in Dubai. For the unversed, the Bigg Boss 16 fame was taken into custody on July 12, 2025, at Dubai International Airport at approximately 5:00 a.m. He was reportedly booked on charges of theft. In the recent conversation, Abdu revealed that the news of his arrest was fake. He slammed his former management team, who made false statements and spread rumours that he stole his own items, including a Gucci bag and his mobile. In his words:

“Hello, everyone, it’s Abdu Rozik. I want to talk about the fake news they put all over the world. And they are saying I got arrested in Dubai. Of course, it’s fake, because you can see I am here. Everything is okay, I am safe and working as usual. This situation was made by my previous management team, IFCM. They made false statements against me. They say I stole my own items, including the Gucci bag, which I got as a gift on my birthday and my mobile, which was bought with my own money.”
