Directed by Karan Johar, the 2001 movie, K3G starred Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol, and Hrithik Roshan in the lead roles. In a recent conversation with designer, Prabal Gurung on the Gold House YouTube channel, Karan Johar recalled how he received threats from the underworld after the release of the film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. So, he fled the country and jetted off to London for some time as his mother, Hiroo wanted him to stay under the radar. During their stay in the UK, they went to watch the film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with a crowd and were surprised to see how the audience couldn’t stop weeping throughout the film.
