Karan Johar spills beans about his personal life, says it’s difficult to find love for him
In a recent interaction with Prabal Gurung, Karan Johar opened up about the matters of his heart and revealed that finding the perfect idea of love has been a difficult thing in his life. He mentioned that in his 30s, he had difficulty in finding the right partner for him, and being in a relationship where he was an equal part of. Referring to his earlier revelation of having been in a one-sided relationship, he mentioned how that experience only empowered him. In his words:
“I haven’t been in very many relationships. When I came into my own, it was in my mid-30s when I realised that I could do what I wanted to do in the zone of love, it was difficult. It was not easy to find the right partner, and be in a relationship that was equal. I have had a bout of one-sided love, which I made Ae Dil Hai Mushkil from. It was my sad ektarfa pyaar, which lasted many years, but taught me the power of love itself. It empowered me, even though it broke my heart.”
