And now, Sonam Kapoor spilled beans on her decision to take a hiatus from films, after the birth of her son, and revealed whether she felt forgotten all this while.
Sonam Kapoor says the hiatus from films was important for her
In a recent interaction with India Today, Sonam Kapoor spoke about her hiatus from films, which she took right after the birth of her son, Vayu. The diva emphasised that she started working at the age of 17, and continued till 36, so her break was justified by all means. Moreover, the diva mentioned that as a new mom, this crucial period of time was essential for her to bond with her son. Adding how she is all geared up to return to the cinema again, Sonam mentioned:
“I miss cinema and the industry but at the same time, this time was very important for me to bond with my baby, and have time with my family. I started working when I was 17 and took a break when I was 36, so I think I gave enough time. I am ready to come back to work now.”
