Bollywood actress, Jacqueline Fernandez is one of the most down-to-earth celebrities in the industry. Though the actress has time and again proved her acting mettle in various films, she was once judged for her performance in a 2011 film. It so happened that when Jacqueline featured in the psychological thriller, Murder 2, she was compared with Mallika Sherawat, who was the lead in the original film, Murder, opposite Emraan Hashmi, in 2004. However, that left Jacqueline irked and once she reacted to the same.
Jacqueline Fernandez on being compared to Mallika Sherawat
In an interview with Rediff, Jacqueline Fernandez reacted to her role getting compared with Mallika Sherawat and revealed that these comparisons bothered her. She also mentioned that both films had different stories and thus, making comparisons wasn’t fair. However, the actress added that she had no complaints when people compared her to Mallika and said:
“It bothers me when my role in Murder 2 is getting compared to Mallika Sherawat. The stories are not the same, and it doesn’t make any sense to make any comparisons. On a personal level, I don’t have any complaints when people compare me to her.”
