However, at a time when everyone expected to see more of her mesmerising performances on-screen, the diva decided to step down from the film industry and married businessman, Vikas Oberoi. Recently, the diva grabbed all the headlines as news of her and her husband meeting a fatal road accident in Italy surfaced. While Gayatri and Vikas were safe, a Swiss couple who was in one of the cars during the headlong collision died, after their car caught fire.

According to a recent report in Daily Mail, Gayatri Joshi’s husband, Vikas Oberoi is being probed under investigation, after the death of the Swiss couple during the multiple vehicle collision that took place at the Sardinia Supercar Tour as part of the luxury cars parade from Teulada to Olbia. For the unversed, the accident involved a mini-truck, a Lamborghini and a Ferrari, along with Vikas’ car. If found guilty, Vikas might be charged with double road homicide and can face seven years of imprisonment.
