Polish businessman and CEO of company, Drogbruk, Piotr Szczerek, found himself in the middle of a controversy, when he grabbed a signed cap from a young boy and gave it to his wife, Anna. After facing backlash, an apology is going viral, which is allegedly written by Piotr.
Piotr Szczerek’s alleged apology goes viral
According to a report by New York Post, Drogbruk CEO, took to his Instagram handle (now deactivated) to apologise to the young fan and family regarding his actions at The US Open 2025. In his alleged apology, Piotr accepted his fault and explained the entire incident. His alleged apology was:
“I would like to unequivocally apologize to the boy who was harmed, his family, as well as all the fans and the player himself. I made a serious mistake. In the emotions, in the crowd’s joy after the victory, I was convinced that the tennis player was handing the cap in my direction — for my sons, who had earlier asked for autographs.”
