Television actor, Ashish Kapoor is leading the headlines for all the wrong reasons. As per multiple reports, he was arrested in connection with alleged rape and assault charges. A case was registered against the actor at the Civil Lines police station in Delhi. The news of the actor’s arrest has sent his fans into shock and disbelief.
Ashish Kapoor faces rape and assault charges
According to the FIR, the complainant alleged that the incident occurred in the second week of August during a house party in Delhi. She alleged that Ashish, along with two others, raped and assaulted her. Initially, the woman mentioned Ashish and the names of two other individuals; however, she later revised parts of her statement, accusing only Ashish.
