Netflix series, Adolescence swept the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, winning several accolades. Stephen Graham, actor and co-creator of the show, clinched his first Emmy for his performance as ‘Eddie Miller’, the father of the lead, i.e., the young perpetrator, ‘Jamie Miller’ (Owen Copper). Stephen Graham won the award in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series category; however, the win was as much his wife’s as it was his. For the uninitiated, his better half, Hannah Walters, co-produced Adolescence and also appeared in a cameo role in the series.

Stephen Graham, who won his first Emmy on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, said a ‘namaste’ to conclude his acceptance speech. It made his Indian fans extremely happy, who shared the clip of the moment on social media. Besides his fans, the Adolescence star also thanked his colleagues and wife, Hannah Walters, for the show’s success.
