Janhvi Kapoor has always been in the spotlight, sometimes for professional reasons and other times for her personal life. Recently, she has been making headlines for her upcoming film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, alongside Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. During the trailer launch of the film, Rohit grabbed all the attention, when he revealed Janhvi’s relationship status with Shikhar Pahariya.

On September 15, 2025, the cast of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari came together in Mumbai for the trailer launch of their upcoming film. During the fun interaction, a reporter asked one of the boys (Varun Dhawan or Rohit Saraf) to propose to Janhvi. After the reporter finished, Varun instantly said that amongst them, obviously Rohit will be the one to propose. To that, Rohit refused to propose to her and indirectly confirmed Janhvi’s relationship with Shikhar. He said:
“Main Shikhar se maar nahi khaunga bhai.”
