The football world has been left in shock following the unexpected demise of 21-year-old Billy Vigar, forward for Chichester City and former Arsenal academy star. As a young and rising talent, Vigar had been building a promising career that would have steered him to the top levels of English football. However, a tragic accident cut his life short.
Vigar was in the middle of an Isthmian League match when he sustained a severe brain injury after his head collided with a concrete wall. The young striker was immediately placed in an induced coma, and on Thursday, September 25, 2025, he unfortunately succumbed to the injury.
