In an interview with News 18, Richa Chadha opened up about her interfaith marriage with her husband, Ali Fazal and how anyone’s thoughts on their union didn’t bother them. The actress mentioned that she and Ali both belong to liberal families, and they never felt any pressure from their families regarding their interfaith union. In her words:
“No once cares about people and what they think. And I come from a very liberal, lovely family. Ali comes from a very liberal, progressive family. We are both middle-class people. And we had a fantastic time. No one put pressure on us. And if they did, we didn’t take any pressure.”
