Rajiv Adatia, in his latest social media post, reveals why he defended ‘Lata Didi’

Rajiv recently took to his social media handle to reveal that Lata Mangeshkar’s name and legacy needed protection from those who thought it was funny to make fun of legends. He wrote in his post that Lata’s name represents devotion, discipline, and divinity. When it was mocked, he could not afford to be silent. Rajiv slamming Orry shared that when people mistake popularity for purpose or paid publicity for talent, try to use her name, it is beyond shameful. A part of his note read:

“You are the heartbeat of this nation, Didi. You sang “Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon” for the soldiers who gave their lives for India. You moved the entire country to tears even the Prime Minister wept listening to you. You didn’t chase the spotlight; the light found you.”
