The Inbetweeners originally aired on British TV channel, E4 on May 1 2008, and went on to become one of the country’s most-watched sitcoms ever. The show was created and written by the iconic duo of Damon Beesley and Iain Morris. Talking about the cast, it featured four young teenage actors, William McKenzie as Simon Bird, Simon Cooper as Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison as Neil Sutherland, and James Buckley as Jay Cartwright. The show’s theme revolved around their school life, friendship, lad culture, adolescent sexuality, and uncaring school staff.

In 2019, The Guardian placed The Inbetweeners at the 74th position in the list of the 100 best TV shows of the 21st Century.
