It so happened that while the nation was praying for Bollywood legend, Dharmendra, it was rumoured that the veteran actor had passed away. Among the various news channels that ran the news was Aaj Tak. While the anchor of the news channel, Anjana Kashyap, also faced a huge backlash for spreading a false narrative on Dharmendra’s death.
Amid the whole fiasco, it was reported that Anjana Kashyap also met with a tragic end and passed away suddenly. The news became viral after an online Reel featured a man expressing grief in front of Anjana’s poster, wearing a funeral garland. Soon, a tweet of Anjana went viral, in which she reshared an apology tweeted by India Today for spreading false information about Dharmendra’s death.
