And even though the director of the film, Aditya Dhar denied all rumours, parents of Mohit Sharma have moved to court.

On November 28, 2025, parents of Ashoka Chakra and Sena Medal awardee, late Major Mohit Sharma filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, in which they demanded an immediate stay on the release of Aditya Dhar’s film, Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh.
