Ranveer Singh got emotional after being awarded for his debut film, Band Baaja Baaraat
An old video featuring Ranveer Singh alongside Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor from an award ceremony was recently posted on Reddit. At the beginning of the video, Karan Johar can be seen announcing, “Ranveer Singh for Band Baaja Baaraat”. Soon, Ranveer can be seen rushing towards the stage and is honoured with the beautiful award. Following this, Ranveer got highly emotional and delivered a gratitude-filled speech. He can be quoted as saying:
“Sorry guys, bit overwhelming. I want to be an actor since I was a little kid and I’m here today, sharing the stage with these people, it’s really surreal. And thank you Adi sir, for believing in me, this is for the team of Band Baaja Baaraat. You guys are really special, mom – dad, my sister Ritika, everything I do, I do to make you guys proud. Thank you very much. Ladies and gentleman I promise you, there’s a lot more to come.”
