Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has broken many records and is still going houseful even after two weeks of its release. The film’s trailer launch in November drew a lot of attention, and a video from the event went viral, featuring veteran actor Rakesh Bedi greeting 20-year-old Sara Arjun, who played his daughter in the film. After the video surfaced on social media, Raksh faced backlash from netizens who claimed that the veteran actor had kissed Sara’s shoulder.

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Rakesh Bedi responded to the backlash, calling it ‘stupid’. Revealing his fatherly rapport with her, Rakesh said:
“Sara is less than half my age and plays my daughter. Whenever we met during the shoot, she would greet me with a hug, just as a daughter would with her father. We share a nice rapport and camaraderie, which is also reflected on screen.”
